Hi, my name is Antony and im a builder by trade.
we have all being hearing over the past year or so about the short fall in housing and there is no way wewill produce the amount of houses needed to meet future growth.
so this got me thinking and i did a little research and found that in England alone there are 205,821 houses empty due to being unfit for habitation and just left empty due to owner neglect. The National Housing Federation estimates 974,000 homes needed to be built between 2011 and 2014, but that figures from 326 councils showed only 457,490 were completed.
So i would like to be in a positon where i can contact the council and aquire these abandoned buildings, neglected houses and create a family home so that familes are not forced to live in hostals, while 205,821 houses are left empty and deteriorating.
I and families you could help would be gratful for your support and if this works i hope it would inspire like minded people in other regions to do the same thing.
