Pontyclun RFC U16s 2017/18 Kit Sponsorship

To provide kit sponsorship for Pontyclun RFC U16s season 2017/18 including final year tour. Please see letter from our captain below.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Rhys Thomas and I am the captain of Pontyclun Rugby club’s under 15s team. We have played together since the age of seven, and have enjoyed many seasons together. Next year, it will be our final season together as under 16s, before many of our twenty seven man squad go our separate ways; to rugby schools, development squads, and to play for many various youth teams in the region. I consider us to be a special team, since our players actually attend four different secondary schools in the area; some English medium schools, some Welsh, but when we are on that pitch we play as one, drawn together by our love of rugby and dedication to the team.
To mark this occasion and to celebrate our rugby development during our formative years together, our coaches have organised a memorable tour to Spain for our team during October half-term of this year. As well as the players, our coaches train with us throughout the rugby season, in all weather conditions, to help assist and support our training and match play, which we all greatly appreciate since they generously give up their own time.
With regard to our forthcoming tour, we are currently in search of sponsorship to cover the cost of our kit. The team and I would be extremely grateful if you would consider sponsoring an item - no matter how small, as it will make an enormous difference to us, ensuring that we can all tour and play together.
Personally, I have to say that the importance of this team and rugby in my life is immeasurable. Rugby has allowed myself and my fellow team members to grow and develop into confident, respectful and sociable teenagers. Additionally, through the game of rugby, we have been able to develop a strong sense of belonging and have acquired the ability to work as part of a team, which is so important for us all and our future. As a team, we are a family, and we all feel a strong sense of brotherhood which I feel is also an important attribute to have in life.
The opportunity to tour Barcelona, whilst playing rugby, would indeed be inspirational for all of us since it would be the experience of a lifetime and a memory to treasure.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this letter
