This extra money will help me invest in more materials to be able to make items for sales at the Makers Market in the christmas period
Setting up my mini part time business in Furniture Making.
About the project
I studied Furniture Making at Leeds College of Art and Design over 7 years ago. I found this to be a huge passion of mine and really enjoyed it. I moved on from this to work in finance to have a stable career for my family.
I have recently being suffering from depression and I am now recovering to a stage where I am starting to feel myself.
I have been realising that I have been missing a huge passion of mine and I want to get this back into my life. I am working on setting up a small mini business at my home in Cheshire where I will be making furniture part time for local customers. I also plan to have a stall at a local makers market where I can sell small jewellery boxes.
Me and my wife both work and we are proudly raising up our first child who is 7 months. It is difficult to save funds for this mini business project, but I would very much like to get into this and have a huge passion.
I can make a range of items and will meet customer’s preferences to give them bespoke furniture.
The money I raise will pay for Machines and Materials to get me started.
