Ever ordered clothes online which haven’t fitted properly when they arrived in the post? Answer is probably yes. This is because all we rely on is a very basic word table with the rough sizes on. No wonder items are often too long, too short or too tight.
Companies worldwide spend huge amounts on new products, but give you no chance of finding out how you will look wearing it, unless you shop on the high street and can use a fitting room.
So what can an online retailer do to help you? Why not actually see how it fits, before starting the endless run of returning the item, reordering, returning, reordering.
This is where we come in. We are aiming, with the help of you, our generous backers, to create a visual online system, where you can simply type in your sizes and the item you want to buy will appear on a model with very similar sizes to you, wearing that item. Not only this, but what the model says about the item, will it fit women with bigger busts? Or how does the bigger size compare?
We will have 9 different models, all different heights and sizes. Customers will be able to click between different sized models wearing the product that they want. The models measurements will be displayed so that you can easily compare to your own measurements. Plus what the model says about the item, tips about the fit and how it will fit women with bigger hips, smaller bust etc.
Visual changing rooms are changing how we will shop online. Help us help you.
