New stretch target
If we pass our target all funds riased will be used to subsidise the cost of places on our course. Ths campaign targets raising funds for two specific students, who we particularly want to attend our course, we would love to extend this offer to other people on low income interested in studying permaculture design with us here in Mid Wales.
Help 2 special students attend our June PDC. In the midst of developing a new Amazonian linked enterprise, these 2 need to attend our June course.
About the project
The Sector39 team have specialised in delivering life changing, life enhancing Permaculture Design Courses for over ten years. This intensive 2 week residential course bring together change makers, project developers, green activists and social entrepreneurs and equip them with essential skills, networking and project visits that will help them achieve their own personal goals.
We draw on our own 25 year experience of housing co-op development, community garden building, organic growing, food preparation and grass roots project development to deliver these special, high energy courses. We work with craft artisans, herbalists, growers and designers to bring the best learning experience we can possibly offer to our students. We know how effective these courses are from the feedback and outcomes we get each time.
We have two unique and very special students in mind, who are really keen to attend our upcoming course and want to mobilise support to help them do this. We are offering them a two for one deal, saving them £600 and are helping them raise the remaining £600 via this platform to enable them to attend.
Why are they so special? Why are we so keen to have them on this course? These local residents, still in their 20's are just returned from 4 years in the Amazon studying rain-forest medicine and more and are setting up a new enterprise to develop mutual trade links with partners in the Amazon. Enabling them to attend the course will reinforce their commitment to their own project, equip them with broader skills and concepts to make them more effective and also link them into local networks with similar objectives. Here is their Facebook page.
Supporting both this course, Sector39 and these students is a great way to support positive change.
