Struggling New Business, Peak Trails Pony Trekking opened on the 22nd May 2016

Hello there, my name is Sarah and I am looking for a helping hand with my new venture Peak Trails Pony Trekking. I came up with the idea 3yrs ago that a Pony Trekking Centre would be an excellent new business in my area as the Monsal Trail has drawn so much tourisim into the  local area and nobody was providing this activity. The area is very popular with people who love the outdoor life and so I began the task of raising funds to start my business. I sold my car and my own special Horse  "Connal" to help get the business off the ground!

We where awarded the necessary Local Authority Licence to run a Riding Establishment on May 22nd this year and so with this in hand we where open for business! We had a succesful July/Aug/Sept but as we opened so late in the year due to delays with the licence, it is making life very difficult during the colder winter months as you can imagine, business has slowed up considerably & funds are low.

I would like to become BHS approved establishment (British Horse Society) & this in turn reduces my Public Liability Insurance considerably, but also if we can become BHS approved we get free advertising on a number of websites (The Peak National Park been one who will only add links to there page when you are approved by BHS) as we are slap bang in the middle of the Peak National Park, I feel if we can raise funds it will help tremedously & we will survive and be able to offer facilitys for disabled riders also.
