I received a parking ticket fairly recently which I don't really want to pay due to being an impoverished student. In fairness, I could hardly move my car as I was watching the rugby at the time.
Scandalously it has doubled in price as I have ignored it completely for a good fortnight or so. In my arduous and longstanding battle with the traffic wardens of Southampton City Council I have decided that the money ought to be raised via crowdfunding. In a desperate plea to the good-nature of humanity, I ask that you find it in your hearts to fight this severe injustice by helping me pay it. Participating in this bizzare act of kindness will not only assist me financially but will be an invaluable part of the war on traffic wardens. And I have a pretty awful hangover, so it will cheer me up a bit, two birds with one stone really.
It is only fair that there is some incentive for potential donaters, so in return for your kind generosity, I vow to continually crowd fund for as long as I am capable, raising funds to fight other peoples parking tickets. Together, we can put an end to the devestating punishment that could happen to anyone.
