Pablo Apple Tree
We did it
On 15th September 2012 we successfully raised £250 with 6 supporters in 60 days

Hello everyone, here is my pitchÉ Pablo Apple Tree is a "Nu Village" in England independently governed by a public computer called Pablo. His job is to encourage and promote human flourishing within the community. With his one to one meditative sessions and unparalleled personal database, Pablo prides himself on improving people's lives. In an effort to maintain diversity and progress people from from all walks of life are randomly invited to become a member of the village. As part of a compulsory rehabilitation program, Lania da Silva has been relocated to Pablo Apple Tree for a three year trial period, at just seventeen years old she has been labelled an incurable social misfit. Pablo believes he can turn her life around. Last year I signed a three book contract for this comic, I have completed part one which consists of 44 colour pages which is now with my publishers awaiting a release date. I have started working on part two but my financial situation has caused progress to be very slow. This is where you are needed. Together with my own funds, £250 will make a world of difference, improving the speed of my work flow and making sure I get things done when they need to be done. The money will be spent on A3 colour scanning and printing, printer inks, traveling to the locations for my reference photos, the usual art materials I burn through such as paper, pencils, Pentel leads, ink pens, markers and any general unforeseen costs which go into making a fifty page comic. If I don't spend all of the money then the funds will be carried over to help in the production of Part three. My work flow consists of drawing the page, adding the shading, scanning this page into the computer, clean up the image and finalise the layout, print out the refined page onto A3 matte paper, add the ink, speech bubbles and sound effects and then finally colour the page. I love doing this but I am working alone in what is a very labour intensive medium and right now I need your help. Thank you. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lukeastorigin/ http://lukeastorigin.blogspot.co.uk/

Hello everyone, here is my pitch…

Pablo Apple Tree is a "Nu Village" in England independently governed by a public computer called Pablo.

His job is to encourage and promote human flourishing within the community. With his one to one meditative sessions and unparalleled personal database, Pablo prides himself on improving people& 39;s lives.

Thank you.
