Zimbabwe is currently facing drought as well as the HIV epidemic. This has left a lot of the population vulnerable at a time when they really need help with basic necessities. Zimbabweans have faced hardships at the best of times but to then be stuck in the middle of a drought makes their plight that more serious.
A lot of Zimbabweans have survived tough times with the help of relatives and friends in the diaspora who often send them money to help with basic living needs and costs.
Unfortunately not everyone has someone they can rely on in the diaspora and this leaves the poor, sick, elderly and children feeling very vulnerable as they end up going without food or having just one meal a day of that. This leads them to feeling neglected and forgotten.
Zimbabweans are a resilient people and will often help themselves first before asking for external help.
We are kindly asking that you help donate towards help with not only buying food, medical care and basic necessities to help them through these hard times, in specific those living in the rural areas where they often don't have access to basic commodities. One of the biggest things we are trying to achieve is to create projects for them that will help them sustain themselves in the long run without the need for aid. Anything little helps as collectively it all makes a HUGE difference to those who need it the most.
We will also be following up with a mini documentary, that will highlight our plight and show you where your money is going.
Sincerely thanking you all in advance.
