Formula Ford 1600 racing car team based in Tamworth, United Kingdom, seeking friendly support to help our team operate on a small budget.

Owned and operated by 27 year old James Oldfield, the team has been running since 2013 and has since taken on new machinery to help maximise the teams image and presence in the competitive world of FF1600.

On October 22/23 2016, the Formula Ford Festival takes place at Brands Hatch, and we are hoping to raise as much funding as possible for this event to support the entire team through the event.

It is a truely international event, with teams and drivers decending from all corners of the globe (Canada, Australia, South Afirca and Asia) to compete in the 'knock-out' type event, limited to 80 entries.

The event is well cost controlled with a reduced race entry than usual, limit of 2 sets of tyres per competitor per weekend and 4 sessions over a race weekend to help keep costs down further.

In the 2012 FF Festival, we finished 2nd overall on our debut, followed by 2 more podium finishes in 2014 and 2015.

In the 2015 Formula Ford Festival, Wayne Boyd running a Van Diemen JL15 won the event for the 2nd time.

On the back of this result, we decided to acquire the Van Diemen JL16. We have the car, engine and full equipment to compete in the event, but we really need the support and funding to help make it possible for us achieve our dream of competing to win the event after 3 podium finishes in the last 4 years.

Any support you could offer to the team would be greatfully and respectfully recieved.

We are a passionate, friendly and dedicated team with our only intentions to compete to the highest standard.
