NORA THE BRETON

NORA was saved from a perrera (kill station) in Malaga, Spain in August 2016.  She had, like so many, been dumped by her owner in the kill station to be sacrificed.  It become very apparent  that she not only had a badly broken leg, but also a problem with her paw.  COCKER RESCUE SPAIN supporters jumped into action and raised the vital funds to exit her from the perrera and into a safe foster home in Spain.  Her paw was operated on (a foreign object that had been there for weeks, if not months was removed) and xrays taken of the injured leg.

The Spanish vet found an old healed fracture of the distal radius and ulna causing constant lameness and pain.  She had been left with this injury for a long time.

NORA is now in a foster home in the UK and we have a chance for ANDERSON ABERCROMBY VETERINARY REFERRALS in Surrey to rectify this angular deformity at the level of the old fracture and give this very active and loyal girl a chance of normal exercise.  BUT we need to raise £3,500 for this operation, further xrays and post operative care.

It is a huge task, we, at COCKER RESCUE SPAIN appreciate that, but we can only hope you can open your hearts to NORA x
