Newsish is a satirical news parody, like Channel 4's The Day Today, that'll poke fun at the world we live in and how news is presented.

Synopsis

Newsish is a 30-minute news parody being made by third year Television Production students at the University of Gloucestershire. The studio based comedy will include familiar news reports that have been exaggerated and reformed in to fake, comical news stories. The show's randomness and satirical nature hopes to have the audience in stitches, from start to finish.

Where the money is going

We are raising money to contribute towards the making of this studio comedy. The money will be spent on:

  • Set design - Props, costume, set building, set furnishing, visual effects
  • Locations - Hiring, travel expenses
  • Actors - Actor's pay, travel expenses, accommodation
