Project aim

Our aim for this project is to raise funds to take our new exciting production on tour. Pals is a piece of emersive theatre designed to commemorate those who fell in WWI whilst taking quality theatre into rural areas of Cornwall. We will send you up and down on a theatrical rollercoaster, "Home before Christmas they said".

About the project

Hi, we are NorthSouthTheatre a newly formed theatre company based in Cornwall. We have produced this play once for a preview show and it went so well we want to take it on tour and share this gripping tale with the rest of the world... but we don't have enough money so we will just stick with Cornwall for now!Where do you come in? We need a little help from you guys, as you can imagine the cost of touring a show is pretty high and one of our biggest expenses during the preview show was the hire of WW1 uniforms. We want them to be as authentic as possible and after shopping around we found that they are REALLY expensive to buy so we have decided to get some made. We will use these for the next three years until 2018 - thrilling the masses with our incredible theatrical prowess!. For a war that ended 100 years ago, it's only right that we continue to represent!

A picture from the preview show at Penlee Park, Penzance. These are the uniforms that we need for the show and (gasp!) hire charges were £250.00 for two days. We have made all the set ourselves to keep costs down, but we need to tweak it to make it more flexible for touring. Your contribution will be invaluble to our companies first tour. You'll not only be supporting us, but also independent theatre production in Cornwall.

We will keep you updated with Stan and George's plight. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to see the next video clip first. If you can help us with this small step we will be eternally gratefull and the memory of those who gave us our freedom will ring strong for evermore, lets nail it!!!
