WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...

It all started three years ago, when I discovered a small village called Žena glava (Women head) on the island of Vis and meet its inhabitants.

Village Žena glava, Vis

Village is populated with only twenty inhabitants, all of whom are elderly.  So I met this old people and listen to their stories. They all lived a hard life of farmers, the life that no longer exists. They worked the land, produce their own food and live by the labor of their own hands. It was a hard life, but people were happy. From that moment I wanted to get everyone back to such a life.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED SO FAR...

Now three years later we bought a little farm where I want to relive life as our ancestors lived. So far we have planted several types of herbs and spices, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetables. The estate is now enriched with bees, horticulture and chickens. We have enabled visitors to the island sightseeing  and exploring life in harmony with nature.

WHY ARE WE CROWD FUNDING ?

This project will bring the estate to a new level. We want to build a self-sustaining  wooden house with solar power and rain water collectors. We need the water on the property to produce more food, and house will be used as a space where we will hold various workshops and courses, like food processing and manufacturing of products such as natural cosmetics, teas, spices and winter food.

WHAT DO WE NEED MONEY FOR?

This is our first crowdfunding campaing and donations will allow us to be ready for summer 2017, when we will be able to run workshops and courses for visitors of the island and its inhabitants.
