So, my mum doesn't know that I've created this page, please help me make her the happiest woman alive. All she wants is an education and no amount of money should stop anyone from getting that.
The improvement of conditions and behaviors that affect health is just one of the main reason why my mum has enrolled onto an MSc in Applied Public Health. She wants to make a positive impact, and help promote a healthy life.
My name is Nokhuthula, I'm 25 and I really need your help! My mum has had a really tough life and she has worked so hard to make sure that we have a better one. She has raised my 3 younger brothers and myself on her own and she did it well. My mum went back to university 3 years ago which was a big step for her because being in full time education and raising a family as a lone parent is not easy but she was determined to do so.
After what seemed to be one of the hardest but most educational 3 years of her life, she graduated with a 2:1, upper second class degree in Health and Social Care. She was then offered a place on the MSc in Applied public health course which she started late September. I haven't seen her this happy in a long time and it breaks my heart to know that she might have to drop out because we are just really struggling to pay the fees. She thoroughly enjoys her course and after everything she has done for us, this is something I feel I have to do for her. I am a student myself who will be applying to study Dietetics in September 2017, working part time just won't cover her fees. I am trying to save up as much as I can for her but I just cannot do it on my own.
I only have one mother, one who's been both a father and a mother to me the past 16 years, I just really want to help her make her dreams come true. I would really appreciate any help at all.
