Morvern Rennie is a Green Party activist who lives and works in Bedfordshire. She is 28 years old, and married with two children. Brought up in rural Aberdeenshire, she graduated with a 2:1 in law from Strathclyde University in 2010. She worked in the hospitality and events industry until the birth of her first child in 2013.
'A chaotic Brexit being led by inexperienced negotiators is a threat to the stability of the British economy. Greens will steady the ship and support Bedfordshire Businesses by working to stay in the single market, defending free movement of workers, and trusting the people of Britain to decide on the final deal that is negotiated.
We will help Bedfordshire's hard working families by campaigning for more affordable housing, reducing commuting costs by bringing the railways back into public ownership and fighting for a compassionate welfare system which makes work pay.
We will be a strong voice for education in Bedfordshire ensuring everyone has the chance to succeed in life by reducing class sizes, scrapping tuition fees, bringing back bursaries for nurses, and ensuring our universities continue to be world leaders matching EU funding.
Unlike other political parties, the Green Party do not receive any funding from big business or the Unions. ALL of our funding comes from members and small private donations. It costs at least £1,200 to run a proper general election campaign and we desperately need your help to ensure that the green voice is heard in south west Bedfordshire. Please donate so that Morvern can stand. Without this money there can be no Green Party candidate.
If you are donating more than £50 can you confirm that you are eligible to make political donations in the UK and that this donation is not made for or on behalf of any other person. All donations received are subject the regulation of the political parties, elections and referendums act, 2000. You can contact me via GaryLloyd10@aol.co.uk if you require any further details.
