I promised my little sister I would taken her away on the trip of a lifetime. She has always wanted to go on an adventure and I promised I'd make it happen. She has recently got engaged and this would have been my gift to her on her wedding.
On my birthday my mum gave me a little jar called 'Russia' fund, with pictures of myself and my little sister and in that I have been saving from odd jobs, apple picking, birthday money etc. I had been going through some tough times myself in terms of mental health and financially and this is something that kept me going, I had saved £1,500 since august.
Unfortuantely, on Sunday 6 November my house was burgled and car stolen (by people I knew and trusted). The jar of cash was stolen, and there is no way of getting it back on the insurance or via the court system (as it is pure cash with no proof of purchase).
So, this is an appeal for me to be able to fulfil my promise to take my sister to Russia in February. As much or as little as you can afford would be appreciated so much. Anyone I have ever done a good deed to, shown any kindness, or been a good friend too. I would really appreciate your calling in this favour, so I can keep my word to my sister and hopefully demonstrate that kindness and generousity always defeats theft and greed.
I'd like to thank my stepdad and Mum who have already contributed, and the beautiful Esme who has contributed £50.
