This training awareness and information session will help create awareness of mental health among refugees, asylum seekers who may have experience various levels of emotional or pschological traumor as a result of  fleeing wars, conflicts, persecution, inhuman treatment or human rights abuses. This information section will provide them with useful information and guidance on where and how to seek help. This will also openly encourage them to break the silence and taboos held about mental health issues. By providing leaflet and booklets we hope to create the awareness and break fears they may have about coming forward with mental health conditons and seek help. Many suffer in silence and live in denial about this issues due to cultural beliefs and taboos. This will also promote more integration through open discussions and forums thereby promoting  healthy and sound mental health in the local community.
