Once again i am running a funding campaign allowing and helping me to fullfill my humanitarian journeys across Europe in response to the refugee crisis we are currently experiencing.
After a three months campaign in Calais, offering medical acupuncture and massage therapy in the largest refugee camp in Europe, i am now going to the island of Lesvos in Greece where refugees form Syria have been arriving for weeks now, most in horrific conditions, men, women, elderlies, pregnant ladies, babies and young children, all escaping the war stricking their homeland and the bombings happening everyday.
I will be part of a medical team delivering advanced first aid, general survival support and also medical massage therapy care (tuina, trigger points and acupressure), TENS electro-stimulation, cupping therapy ( the use of acupuncture is currently under discussion and investigation).
I will be there from the 4th of January to the 18th. Part of my trip has been funded by the medical team i will be working with, very thankful for that but still, i would like to raise fundings to cover the other part.
400 pounds will allow me to buy medical supplies needed for treatments, fund a cheap accomodation, basic nutritional needs and also transportation in/out camps and around the island helping the refugees in need of medical or general care.
Those of you who have been following my work in Calais refugee camp know how important those humanitarian missions and journeys are to me and my commitment to deliver top quality care to those in need. Your donation will help me fullfil those missions and you will in a way, be part of this journey and experience.
This is an incredible opportunity for me to join this action and medical team as, i'm planning in the future, on starting my own medi-care organisation sending doctors, nurses, acupuncturists, medical massage therapists, counsellors etc... in response to major humanitarian crisis around the world and also run free medical clinic localy for those in need, so this experience will be valuable for my future endevors.
Thank you very much in advance, please share this around. You can follow me on facebook to see my updates on the work i will be doing over there, whether it will be first aid, basic nursing care, massage therapy or cleaning, organising the camp or assisting and supporting refugees once arrived on site, your donation will make this possible.
Peace and thank you again. :)
