Max Bike

Max Bike

start a station less bike share in London that would be cheap and convenient. The idea is based on the recent huge Trent in China and Asia

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

The service that we would like to provid is a stationless bike sharing. This would improve the life's of thousand of people in London and potentially other city's.
The costumer would download the max bike app and would start  subscribing to our service for £7.99 a month. They would then have access to any bike any time in London (or other cities). They would look at the map on there phone locate the nearest bike and  reserve it for 10 minutes. They would then find the bike and scan the QR code and the bike would unlock and they can ride it anywere with in London for any time with the subscription. Once there ride is over they would just leave the bike anywhere and lock the bike and then the bike would go back into the system ready for the next person to use.
The idea is based on the recent Trent over the last year in China and other Asian county's were stationless bike share company's have grown from nothing to billions in as little as a year expanding for 1 city to 150 with millions of users.
Max Bike is competing with Santander bike service or "Boris bikes". These bikes cost as much as £2 a time. There big, heavy and slow. The other problem with "Boris Bikes" is that there are stations that are sometimes full or completely empty meaning you cant pick up a bike or drop it off.  If you use a "Boris Bike" every day it could cost you £62 a month. This is compared to £7.99 for max Bikes more convenient and stress free service.
The great thing with Max Bike is that you don't need council planning to build in bike stations which leads to a huge price and time reduction. It also means that max bike can be  scaled up alot quicker then  traditional station bike shares.
Max Bike will be a great conviance to people who live in cities. It is highly scalable and a lot cheaper then  tradition bike shares because of the station less aspect to the company. In China they have seen unbelievable numbers of users and growth and I believe it can be done in Britain and potentially Europe. I believe that it could become the Netflix of transport in cities.
