New stretch target

Thank you to everyone who has donated for the Matthew James Memorial Fund! We reached our initial goal.We have raised the goal because the basic costs are higher than we envisaged and the family will need a lot of support. The initial expenses are gratefully covered from the first 10,000 we have raised. Further expenses such as flights, rent, and moving and shipping still needs to be covered.

Let's keep the support strong and continuing! Thank you for donating!  xxx

It comes with much sadness to announce the loss of a great friend, Matthew James. Matthew passed away suddenly on Thursday, 2 February while painting in Hanoi, Vietnam. This tragedy has sent shockwaves throughout the communities  in Hanoi, London, and around the world, and has affected the lives of so many who loved Matthew.

He was, and still is in our hearts, a man of great talent and enthusiasm. A loving father to Connor (22), Eliza (17) and Otto (4 months), a wonderful partner and soulmate to Laura, and a loyal friend to an endless number of others.  Matthew had an easy going and charismatic personality and brought a smile and a contagious laugh to us all.

Matthew leaves behind a great legacy in the art community in various locations around the world, as well as all the people who have known him.  He was a great artist, and his work can be seen on his Facebook Page Phed's Garden.

With this in mind, we hope we can return the gift he gave to us. In light of his loss, we are setting up a Matthew James Memorial Fund for his family. This was an unexpected tragedy, and financial support is uncertain.

Proceeds will go to the memorial/funeral costs, transportation for the family, moving and shipping expenses, and other financial support for the family.

Thank you for your support.
