To purchase a large marquee to make sure all our students can train all day, every day, whatever the weather, in our fabulous martial arts summer camp

Our Organisation

This year marks the fifth anniversary of our Martial Arts Summer Camp, a week long opportunity to train in a wide variety of martial arts under the expert guidance of established Masters, in a field, in north Cornwall.

Our camp brings together students and teachers from all over Britain, and for one glorious week we live under canvas and train in the open air, subject to the Cornish summertime.  Our camp is suitable for beginners with little or no experience, and experts of 25 years or more, ages 6 - 80, for anyone wishing to try to a variety of martial arts.  We train in taekwondo, hapkido, aikido, kung fu, taiji, silat, and more.

Camp attendance increases every year, and we have now outgrown and out-lasted our feeble gazebo. Sometimes the Cornish weather is kind to us, but frequently we have to halt training at the whim of the skies.

How Can You Help?

If we can raise £1,500, we can ensure that the weather will never affect our training again - this money would buy an enormous marquee suitable for approximately 30 - 40 students to train at the same time, and would seat 70 or more people at dinner time.  If we exceed our targets, we could buy a strong box for security during the week, or start to establish a camp kitchen for everyone to use, which would be fantastic.

Most importantly, if means that we can maximise the time that our teachers can continue to support and give their skills and experience, to all of our hungry students.  Please take a look at our video and our blog articles, and if you can support us and come to camp this year, please do get in touch, we would love to meet you.

Donations

Every donation will receive a reward - though you can opt out of rewards - and the reward is linked to the amount you donate.  Take a look at our comprehensive list of rewards - there is plenty on offer.

Something to Offer?

Looking at our rewards list, you can see that we have quite a few sponsors, both individuals and businesses.  If you would like to help us reach our target, then please consider what you have to offer that may appeal to someone who may be thinking about donating.  In return, you could come and train with us and feel the benefit of your generosity first hand.  If you are a business, then you can rest assured that this campaign will reach every single camp attendee this year, as well as this campaign's promotion across the social media.  Many thanks to Paul Collins Fitness for their rewards of a 1 hour nutrition and fitness consultation or 1 week boot camp membership, and also to Triangle Training for offering a fee waiver for their Save A Life certified first aid training.
