Last May 23, 2017 the city of Marawi was attacked and occupied by the ISIS terrorist group which led to a battle with the Philippine military. After three weeks of gunfires, explosions and airstrikes after airstrikes the city is now in shambles and most of its 200,00 residents fled the city out of fear and are now living in crowded evacuation centers with poor living conditions, little food and support. The worst part is, after their city is recovered from the terrorists they no longer have a home, workplace and school to come back to and we aim to help them start again and rebuild their home and city right after the war. Firstly, they need food to support themselves, the kids needs to come back to school and they need to be assured that they are going to get help and everything is going to be better so they could forget all the horrors of the traumatic experience they had. Lastly, they need a home to start with. No matter how little you have there, a little of that is a big help to the victims .
