My name is Craig Bradshaw. I'm 51 years old and I have Aspergers Syndrome.

I've been taking pictures since I was 4 but have never had the self confidence to pursue my dream as I have put my family and children first - taking huge pride in watching them go out into the world and achieve their dreams.

I'm a grafter - as well as a career, I also worked my way through two postgraduate qualifications in business and management and I got my MBA in 2001 - all while holding down a job and raising my daughter.

As I've got older, I've realised I need to be as big and bold as them and sieze my moment, so here goes!

I really want to be a photogerher - there I said it! :-)

My aim is to study a Masters Degree in Photography - I've already received an unconditional offer from the University of Falmouth on the basis of my portfolio and past education.

To do this, I need to raise £10k. It's a big, giant, scary amount - more money than I've ever had in any account.

But I believe I can do it. It's a question of attitude and being positive and I proise you, I do not go into this with any sense of expectation or entitlement.

What can I offer you for helping me?

A promise. I will repay your faith in me by working harder than ever before to succeed - to become a photographer, to produce a book of and, in this, I will list every single person who helped me achieve this goal.

In short, I will dedicate myself to my task and will dedicate my work to you.

Thank you for any support you might be able to offer.
