Lungfest Album production

Lungfest is asking for £250 to produce & print CDs which will be sold to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation.

Lungfest is a Charitable non profit organisation raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and Organ donation. We are asking for money to print CDs made to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation.

I started the campaign a couple of years ago as a way of trying to make sure other Cystic Fibrosis (CF) sufferers got the same opportunities as myself.

I have CF and in 2008 I was lucky enough to receive a double Lung transplant. Music has always been a big part of my life so my first idea was just to host a gig with my band to raise money for the CFtrust. This was a sucess and led me on to starting Lungfest.

Now in its second year of events and projects, my latest idea is to put together an album of songs that all have a link to Cystic Fibrosis. Some songs on the album have been written and performed by those with CF and others have been written about people with CF and dedicated to them. All have the same idea though and that is to raise awarenss for CF and generate funds for the CFtrust so they can continue research into new techniques and drugs that can improve the quality of life for all those living with CF.

Along side the fund raising we are also encouraging people to sign up to the organ donor register so that when the time comes CF patients can recieve a new set of lungs and continue living thier lives. Just like I have!

So, this is where the crowdfunding comes in. We would like to print hard copies of the album on CD with artwork (also to be provided by someone with CF) so we can sell those at gigs and other events to raise even more money. Obviously this costs money and every penny we spend will take away from what we can donate to the CFtrust.

If we can raise £250 we can print 200 CDs in printed wallets with the artwork on and track listing.

Thank you.
