I have just received a place on the LRTT Tanzania project for summer 2016. I will be going to Tanzania for a month during August in order to experience teaching in a different context. In addition, myself and 19 other teachers will be holding a professional development conference for the teachers of Tanzania in order to help them tackle educational disadvantage. Many teachers in Tanzania have had little or no teacher training and therefore by sharing my own personal experiences I hope to help the teachers and students of Tanzania, whilst consolidating my own learning. This trip cost £1200 to fund (excluding flights) and therefore would appreciate any finanical help you can give.
