The aim of the project is to initially become a wedding venue, but after the first year, a number of other community based activities and events will take place at the property. The weddings will bring in money to finance everything and run the property. In addition, a dedicated part of the property will be used for children's activities and classes, supplementing where the local authority has scaled back at children's sure start centres. The space will also be used to exhibition local artists in an area where they will not have to pay commission on any sales they make - a frustrating part of being an artist. Football and tennis coaching, among other sporting activities will be offered for young people at a heavily subsidised rate; promoting sport, as wel all know, is very important, particularly in an area such as this, whereby the obesitiy rate is one of the highest in the UK.
