Living in the Ends, London

Social documentary about young people living in the Ends, London (± 60 min)

We did it!

On 28th Jun 2017 we successfully raised £90 with 4 supporters in 42 days

There are two roads young people from the Ends in London might take. One is a path that leads to crime and violence. The other path leads to positivity and success. There was a time when younger people would not have an option but to be on street corners, up to no good. Now you could find the same faces doing positive thing such as entrepreneurial ventures, expressing creativity and be a highly functioning part of modern society. Through means such as social media and organised events young people are reaching maturity in a much more progressive fashion.

Life in the Ends can sometimes be portrayed in a very negative light.

According to some sources we have seen, there is much positivity to be found in the Ends, a stone throw away from the crime, violence and negativity that could also be present. There are many youngsters to be found with potential and ambition to make it in life. How is mostly unknown by the public.

We will be on a journey with young people from the Ends, former gang members and their surroundings such as family, friends, neighbours, shop owners, local government workers, neighbourhood watch volunteers, … to find out what’s really going on.

We would like to raise funds for this project to be able to pay the people that are needed to complete this project.

Thank you!
