Forever Angels has run a Baby Home in Tanzania for orphaned, abandoned, HIV positive and disabled babies for the last 12 years.
But we are an orphanage which DOES NOT BELIEVE IN ORPHANAGES.
We have now expanded our work into the local community and our goal is to keep these at risk, orphan babies living at home with their extended families. We provide weekly formula milk to the orphan new born, at risk of starvation, as well as training to their caregiver on HIV, Malaria, Nutrition, Child Development and First Aid.
After six months we set the caregiver up in a business meaning they can be sustainable and suport their own family now and into the future.
To take a baby and its family through this life saving program costs £500. We have 10 families we are currently working with which we do not have the funds to support.
