To provide photovoltaic cells on the roof of the clubhouse to reduce the electricity bills and make the club more self sufficient.

The club has a large membership as there is hockey, cricket, rugby and football all played in the same area with other smaller sports joining in. At present the club solar panels to heat water and a ground source heat pump for radiators help reduce our bills and therefore photovoltaic cells would be the next logical step.

This would help reduce our electricity bills further and increase the amount of money to provide increased and better sporting facilities.  This will then increase the number of participants of sport and reduce the number of people either looking to participate and therefore increase the fitness of the population.

All good news.
