Project aim

Tony Jospeh has been selected to represent England at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Syracuse, USA in September this year. He needs your help to get there.

About the project

I would like to thank my partner, friends, family and team mates for all their support, encouragements and sacrifices over the years. I would not have had the opportunity to pursue lacrosse at this level without them.

I was introduced to Lacrosse at Imberhorne School when I was 16 years-old. It changed my life for the better and it became my passion. Every spare opportunity I had was devoted to improving my lacrosse skills.

I progressed through the ranks of the East Grinstead Lacrosse Team. With their guidance and support, I became a first team player and had the pleasure of leading the team as First Team Captain this season. With a special mention to Dave Kelly and Chris White, who pushed me forward in my early lacrosse years.

They encouraged me to trail for the South of England Team and I reluctantly went. Surprising myself I was selected for the first team and played at the British National Championship. I competed on the team for the next five years and even captained it last year.

I played for multiple touring teams over the years. I made some great memories but some even greater friends.

I was fortunate to play for the London Knights Box Lacrosse team in Prague. After my first game, in Prague, I knew this was the sport for me. Box Lacrosse or indoor Lacrosse as some people call it, is a fast pace and rougher version of the field game and it felt like the game was made for me.

I have always wanted to represent my country but I had never thought it could become a reality.

So, I am overjoyed and so proud to say that I have been selected to represent England in Buffalo, New York in September 2015 at the World Indoor Championship.

I need your help and support to make it to Buffalo please donate if you can.

Thank you for anything big or small.

Thank you! :)
