We plan to open a top notch patisserie & liqueur cafe in Brixham, a picturesque sea side town, in the heart of Devon’s English Riviera.
I am Ben Suermondt, an award winning pastry chef, with a bronze medal in the Major Chef Series national competition 2015 and two silver medals from Major Chef Series national competiton 2016.
I have trained and worked locally for 6 years and have a built up a strong following for my cakes and other food products.
My aim is to bring top quality cakes and spe to this beautiful part of South Devon with a dedicated patisserie in the main street just a couple of minutes walk from the historic harbour, with indoor cafe style setting.
Speciality teas and coffees will also be on offer, and tasty little treats like Belgian chocolates, marzipan fruits and petits fours.
We believe that Brixham is firmly on the up, riding on the huge success and prosperity of Dartmouth, the South Hams and Totnes nearby, together with several high profile food and retail businesses setting up there over recent years, and the resurgence in UK holiday making. Now is a great time to capitalise on the increasing sophistication of consumers.
