Hello everyone! I am a recent graduate from Central Saint Martins Performance design and Practice, this year I have the pleasure of being selected for a project with the Institute of Contemporary Art in association with Chisenhale Gallery to create a film as well as be part of an emerging artist programme with Chisenhale Art Place called 'Into The Wild' 2016-2017.

For the months April till June I have been selected to go on an art residency to Brasil (Despina, Largo Des Artes) however it is not funded. The cost of the residency is ( 6000 euros ) for each artist, this covers the cost of the art studio, curatorial support, operational cost and an open studio for the time requested which is 3 months.

Being part of the Despina Residency at Largo Des Artes will provide me with resources to expand creatively and develop a collaborative work together with a new network of artists internationally.  At this early stage I would greatly value the opportunity to expand on my experimental practice.

I will work with Portugese artist Catarina Cubelo whom I have begun to interlink ideas since meeting and working together as part of her sound recent performance in BA Fine Art Show1.

We seek to cross over processes and propose a collaboration that will be a poetic orchestration of our experimentation and adjoining research in Brasil.

I have ambitions to be able to create larger projects outside the remits of my network in London and hope this is part of the beginning.

You can help us achieve this project by donating!

I am so grateful to those of you who will support me and if anyone proposes artwork in exchange of the fee they give I am also open to this! You can contact me at if you have any further questions regarding this:  korallia@stergides.com

Thank you again :)
