Kit Up! (Sporting Underdog)

My friends and I are a 6-a-side Football Team from the University of Hull. We play weekly matches in an Intramural League throughout the year. We will be the first to admit we are not the best, but we joined for the fun and comradery rather than the silverware. We really do have a great time and celebrate every goal like it's won us the game, even if we end up losing at the final whistle. It has brought a lot of us closer together and is a fabulous experience, regardless of whether we win or lose. However, as we are known for our jovial attitude, teams don't tend to take us seriously, we think a main cause for this would be that most of them have a Team Kit, whereas we all try to coordinate a general colour scheme before we set off to a game. We believe that although it won't make us play better, or even hide the fact that we aren't as competitive as the other teams, it will give us a more organised and professional look and at least show that we are ready for our match when we arrive (instead of looking like we are just playing in the park). Wearing a matching kit will not only improve our appreance, but it will also give us an Identity that we can support together, and represent with a great deal of pride and honour, and will always remember even long after we have left University. To that end, we would be so thankful if you would contribute to our Kit Fund, it really would mean everything to us to know that we have people supporting us, despite the results, simply for the enjoyment of playing and the memories that it wll bring. If you decide to be part of those memories and donate, first and foremost, a big Thank You! from all of our team and to show our gratitude we want to offer Rewards for anyone who supports us. Anyone that donates will be part of the kit, literally! Our kit design will incorporate a logo in the middle of the chest with the names of ALL Sponsors (hopefully in a very unique design, not just a list). This is so no matter what happens during a game, we know that we are not only representing ourselves and each other, but all the people who have supported us, which truly is a momentus and inspirational thing to have. Anyone that donates below £10 will still have their name recorded, and we hope to have all of them on the kit, however should space prove to be a difficult factor we will only be able to guarentee those who reached the 'FAN' level a place on the shirt (this shouldn't happen but just to let you know). As for other rewards, donating up to certain amounts will allow you to claim them, if you have any questions about them please don't hesisitate to contact us. Each has a brief description alongside them. Thank You again, please don't forget to spread the word and DON'T STOP donating if we have reached our target, we can exceed what we aimed for and would love to add you to our Sponsors. In doing so we will be able to get better kits and maybe even personalise them with Names and Numbers too!
