We organise visits from students and teachers from secondary schools in England and Wales to linked schools in Nyamira and Narok Counties, Kenya, to share experiences and exchange best practice. Kenyan schools receive learning and teaching resources and financial support. UK students and teachers learn to survive without running water, electricity and telephones - living frugally on wholesome unprocessed foods. 30 Students and teachers Clevedon and Gordano Schools, North Somerset, travel on 12 July. Others schools will follow. The project aims to raise £3,500 towards £6,750 needed to finalise construction of 2 classrooms at Bochoroke Village in Nyamira County.
