Electrifying & Paving to Equipment Store

Electrifying & Paving to Equipment Store

The supply external equipment stores with electricity and new path to increase accessibility for players & coaches

We did it!

On 13th Jun 2017 we successfully raised £1,070 of £1,000 target with 14 supporters in 49 days

New stretch target

With any additional donations over our planned target, we will be able to undertake further redevelopment projects at the club. Specifically, we will be able to create a drain leading away from the club in front of the concrete barrier at the front of the patio. Every year it floods and these extra funds will go a long way to helping us improve this.

At Kingswood Rugby Club there are 2 external containers located away from the clubhouse that house all the training and playing equipment. On winter training nights, accessing these stores can be tricky as there is no lighting in or around the stores and the ground can also be very boggy due to the winter rain. Kingswood RFC encourage young & senior players to take responsibility and ownership for ensuring equipment is stored away safely and corretly at the end of a session, so it is readily accesable when it is next required, but this is not an easy task at the moment. With this project, we are looking to connect the clubhouse to the external stores using a newly created path, as well as electicfying the stores so that lighting can be installed, making it easier and safer to use in the winter.
