In February this year beautiful little Ivy got diagnosed with Wilms tumour (childhood kidney cancer) when she was just 2 years old. She has already undergone 5 months of intense chemotherapy, radiotherapy & surgery to remove the tumour & her kidney.
Since diagnosis Ivy & her family (mum, dad & little brother Sunny who is just under 9 months old) have spent 90% of their time between Derriford hospital & Bristol children's hospital. It has become impossible for mum or dad to work due to the sheer scale of the task looking after Ivy (not to mention Sunny) when she is going through the worst thing any child could go through.
Our wonderful government have seen it fit to only award Ivy & her family the lowest disabled benefit amount which is £20 per week, this low amount also means they are not entitled to carers allowance or other accompanying financial help. £20 per week for a family of 4 to live.....
This wonderful brave family now have to face the stress of having no income, help Ivy battle through her terrible disease all with basically no financial help . They have worked their whole lives & paid taxes & now in their hour of need they have been let down. This page is to help them have enough money to just simply live until ivys treatment is due to finish.
Please give as much as you can & share this page & help this go viral to help this family through this nightmare.
Peace & love x
