About the pitch
The crew of Mourning Light are looking to find funding for the distribution stages of the film.
‘Mourning Light’ is a 15-minute short drama about bereavement and escape. Country village. Present day. With the death of her brother, Siobhan is doomed to face the world alone. With her strict and religious upbringing she feels entrapped into a world she is losing faith in. Siobhan must choose between the life her parents have chosen for her, or pursue her passion for football and become the person her brother was pushing her to be.
Mourning Light is currently in post-production and we are looking to raise £300 to help us cover costs for festival entries and to make duplicate DVDs in post ready for distribution.
