Hello!
We are Taylor, Lucy, Grace and Christina! We are four Events Management students at Plymouth university. We are putting on an amazing world record attempt for our universities local community and three nominated charities.
Our project target is £1000 which will cover all of our event costs and kickstart donations to our three charities!
What are we attempting?
We are going to break the World Record for the Most T-Shirts Worn Inside Out at the Same Time in the Same Place. If we beat the record, we will be taking the record off of the Intel Coorperation one of biggest computer company's in the world.
The attempt takes place on the 6th of May at the Piazza, Plymouth City Centre, there will be over 750 young people gathering to make sure we break this world record. There will be loads of live entertainment, drumming, bands, fire jugglers and local acoustic bands to help us.
Why are we doing this attempt?
The aim of this event is to celebrate the youth of Plymouth, as well as raise funds for three local charitable causes chosen by Plymouth University’s student body, these are; Brain Tumour Research, Children's Hospice South West and Plymouth Mind. Money will be raised for these charities through bucket collections at the event. If this Crowdfunding campaign is overfunded, all surplus funds will be split evenly between of the three charities listed above.
