This project is using Flexible funding and will receive all pledges made by 1:00pm 16th June 2017

Ingo's War is the story of one little dog's journey through the Second World War - a heart-warming tale of bravery, hope and finding courage where you thought you had none. The show is for ages 7+ and uses puppetry, storytelling, movement and original writing from the company.

We will be taking the show to Edinburgh Fringe in August 2017.

SO FAR...
We at Ditto have had a busy and exciting year already, with even more fun ahead of us - Having performed the first extract of Ingo's War in a public performance for the Les Enfants Terribles Showcase and the very first run of the show at Etcetera Theatre in Camden, with performances scheduled at both Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe and the potential for more performances and workshops throughout the rest of the year, it's all go for us! We were lucky enough to be awarded funding from East 15 Acting School and the University of Essex last year and, most recently, a year-long mentorship with acclaimed theatre company Tangled Feet, which has all helped us get to where we are now!

HOWEVER...
Funds do not stretch far, and to enable us to complete a run at the Edinburgh  Fringe Festival in August (2nd-20th August, Jack Dome, Pleasance Dome), we are in need of more funding! Props, costume, puppets, materials, set, accommodation, travel... It all very quickly adds up!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We look to you, our supporters, to give us a helping hand in any way that you can - Big or small. Any amount of money you are able to pledge would be of significant help to the company and will help us more than you could ever know! Please share this with anyone who you think may help us on our way! Let us thank you, from the bottom of all of our hearts, so much for your continued support, it means the world to us.

LOOKING FORWARDS...
We have big hopes for the future of Ditto and Ingo's War. If successful at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, we are hopefully then looking to do a national tour of Ingo's War in Spring 2018. Later this year we hope to put into place our plans for delivering workshops in puppetry, devising and storytelling at schools and colleges nationwide. We would love to be able to break even on all of our costs and the goal is to start making small profits as a company - The ability to pay our actors and company members would be a fantastic thing for us! So stay tuned to our website, sign up to our mailing list, keep checking our social media and we're sure you will see big things from us in the future!
