Appease my guilty conscience! I accidentally told World Child Cancer I would run a half-marathon for them but I meant to tell WWCR..
About the project
I am a terrible person. I unintentionally told World Child Cancer I would raise £150 and run the Edinburgh Half-Marathon on the 31st May when I am actually already raising money for Worldwide Cancer Research... (apparently the two look the same after a hard day revising). Following this, World Child Cancer sent me the nicest email I have ever received thanking me for running for their charity and detailing how the £150 would help provide chemotherapy drugs to three children and give them potentially life saving treatment (HELP ME!). Now there is no way I could possibly email back to that and say 'whoops - wrong charity' so I have decided to attempt to raise the £150 for the (equally worthy) World Child Cancer alongside my intial fundraising...
