Liverpool Hope University is a thriving and successful small campus university in one of the UK's liveliest student cities. As its a smaller university funding is minimal and priorities are stretched. Sport at Hope is growing more and more successful and our rugby team is a brilliant example of this, as we have just been promoted into BUCS Northern 3A. A league in which we will be playing other larger campus universities and 2XV's of larger Unis. Rugby, like the majority of sport associations at hope, is all self run; so we organise everything from the recruitment of first years, the coaching, fundraising and of course the socials!
We are looking to raise funds to buy team training kit, so our successful team looks like a successful team! Our University has a strong link with Puma who design all our training kit but it is expensive, as each player who joins the squad already pays for subscribtions, insurance, travel and other neccessary expenditures, so therefore many of the players cannot afford the kit. To look like a successful team all squad members should be uniformed for training and warming up before the game. This is my vision for the club and as captain this year in my final year i would love to see it happen. Please donate what you can to help our cause even if it is just a pound. Please follow our teams progress throughout the season on: http://www.bucs.org.uk/bucscore/TeamProfile.aspx?id=3358 to show your support
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support
