Robot Challenges 4 Schools - Build, Compete, Enjoy

Run low cost STEM workshops in local schools to support the National Curriculum and provide ICT skills where they cannot be offered.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

Robot Wars is a popular TV show on BBC TV, with an average of 2 million viewers weekly.

Robots Challengers 4 Schools is setup to take Robot Wars into schools as part of an educational program where children learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills by building robots that they can then compete against their peers, removing the cost and time barriers that prevent most children participating.

The basic build for a robot takes maybe 10 - 20 minutes and then weapons can be added. Whilst building children are learning engineering skills, team building and communication with their peers. Children work in groups of twos or threes building and then competing against other teams controlling their robots with standard gaming controllers.

All children aged 6 and upwards can take part (Year 1 through to Year 10). Access to the robots will also be available to adults for either Corporate Entertainment or Team Building Days.

We will be running a number of activities for children during the school holidays at local shopping centres, Excel London and other exhibition centres around the UK.
