Helping the Cobras through 2015

Helping a successful 7s side to fund tournament entries, which will allow talented young players to showcase their abilities.

New stretch target

All funding goes towards tournament entries and gives our players the opportunity to showcase their talents.

Project aim

To help a successful 7s side fund tournament entries, which will allow talented young players to showcase their abilities.

About the project

Established in 2010, the Cobras have provided young rugby players with the platform to play rugby 7s at the highest standard on the UK circuit. Our players are selected from all over the UK and through us, get the opportunity to compete against some of the best players in the world. In our 5 years we have provided our players with many great experiences: we won a tournament at Twickenham Stadium, appeared on BT Sport and ITV1 whilst winning a tournament at Allianz Park and have played against the full England 7s side, all of which could be considered once in a lifetime opportunities for rugby players.

Many of our past and present players have gone on to represent their country at some level. Our players' honours include playing for: England U20, England Counties U20, England Students and England Deaf.

We are seeking some help to keep our side going and therefore keep providing players the opportunity to experience quality rugby 7s.
