Help me become C3PO for Children's charities

We did it
On 15th June 2012 we successfully raised £2,000 with 59 supporters in 60 days

Help me, Crowdfunders, you're my only hope... SO CLOSE now to the target! Please donate! My goal is to get a top quality, movie-accurate C3PO costume and wear it on a regular basis to help various childrens charities around the UK. The suit will come from a supplier in Europe, and is made mainly of fibreglass. This will need to be trimmed, assembled and plated in a gold chrome effect. I can't do this alone, so I'll need help. I will contribute a MINIMUM of £1000 of my own money to add to the sum raised here on Crowdfunder. Then I will assemble and finish it to stunning quality - no mean feat, as it will take months of hard work to do properly. I'm the same height as actor ANTHONY DANIELS and I can imitate the C3PO voice and movements. This costume blows away the public and brings a smile to everyone's face regardless of age. Since 2008, I have done quite a lot of Star Wars costuming for children's charities. I did not, and still do not make a profit from this in any way. All raised money goes directly to the charity. Help me make this dream a reality and I promise to work very hard to help others. I will act in a manner befitting everyone's favourite golden droid, and never do anything to bring the Star Wars name into disrepute. *** In the interests of honesty and clarity, feel I must state the obvious and inform you before you donate, that the costume I hope to buy and finish will become my property. As with any crowd-funded project, it will not be jointly owned by any donators. But I hope this will not deter you from donating.
