Where do I start...

Most recently I have been accepted to one of the universities to study paramedic science. It took me three years to finally get a chance to enroll. While registering for my course, I have been asked to cover 50% of my tuition fee as I am not eligible for a student loan. I have tried to reason with the university, asking for support in a form of splitting outstanding £4600 in to affordible installment, like monthly payments. Unfortunately, my request has been declined and I have been told that I have to pay in two separate installments, with first one in October higher than the one due in January. If I knew beforehand of this situation, I would have tried to save enough money ready for this year. However, I was misleaded by the fact that NHS is going to cover full tuition fee and now, I am stuck.

The fact is, that while my colllegues from this same course are going to enjoy every minute of their freshers year. I will be either working or spending time with my daughter. As I am a single mum, who is trying to make a better living not only for myself, but most of all for my daughter. Becoming a paramedic it has been a dream of mine for past few years. Being able to serve our divers community and make a diffrence in this disturbed world, it would be an honour.
