To kit out the workshop with the basics I need to expand my business further with notonthehighstreet.com and Etsy
About the project
Firstly, let me thank you for taking the time to read this project. Infinity Keepsakes was originally born to stop myself from being bored whilst on maternity leave and since its establishment in February 2014 it has grown from strength to strength and in the last last financial year the business had a turn over of just £20,000 of which the vast majority of profits have been put back in to equipment.
In April 2015 we were reaching approximately 30 sales a week and a massive development in that we had an invitation from notonthehighstreet.com to join their team of partners to sell on the website.
Having done a lot of reasearch I have found that the website will increase my orders to closer to 100 a week and in the busy period of the year between 30 and 50 a day. I therefore decided to hit the ground running and after consulting with an accountant, incorporated Infinity Keepsakes in to a Limited Company and have been looking for a workshop which I have managed to secure today.
Having working in a small bedroom of my house and now moving to a 19 x 5 meter run down workshop I am now collecting funds to furnish the property because as I am reaching the end of my university course and my exams and therefore have needed to close my shop for a few weeks so I can upgrade it and spend more time on photography etc which means I currently have no income.
Some of the things I need include:
A cheap basic laptop and printer
A massive table to run workshops from and organise orders
2 work benches
Wallslots for my blanks, beads and charms
Hammers and rubber blocks for my workshops
The stamp for getting an upgrade on gift packaging to be printed professionally
A heavy duty tumbler to replace the childs rock polisher I have been using
I know that £1,500 will not be enough to cover everything but it will give me a really good boost in getting to the end goal!
Thank you so much for reading
