I was taken into foster care at the age of 6 years old. Since growing up without a father and a mother that didn't have the capabilities to take care of me and support me I was forced to go live with foster carers. During my time as a child growing up in foster care I was very angry at everything, I was taken out of mainstream school and put into a pupil referal unit, I was told here I would not ever become anything. This is where my life changed and I started to see although I was aged 13 I needed to mature. If I was going to make anything out of my life I needed to stop blaming my past and move on. From this I matured a lot, I was invited back to secondary school at the age of 15. To which I then achived 4 A*'s, 4A's and 2 C's at GCSE. This was a huge thing for me. Since reaching the age of 16 I had to leave foster care and I returned home with my mother, my mother cares for me all she can but unfortunately she can not help me financially with raising a deposit for myself. I am aged 19, I work full time for the NHS, I am currently trying to save every penny but paying rent at the same time I am struggling to save the amount I need for the deposit, this is why I have set the page up. I understand it's not anyone else's place to help raise funds for me and this may seem very selfish, but with a deadline on me needing to move out, I would be ever so grateful for any little donation anyone can afford even if it's 50p. I always try to help people in need hence my job. Thank you in advance.
