Vision Housing is a pioneering charity that specialises in reducing re-offending by helping ex-prisoners find sustainable housing.
It's unique approach has managed to successfuly reduce re-offending by a massive 85% among its clients, who they successfully housed.
Amazingly, the charity was set up by a former prisoner Annys Darkwa, herself a victim who suffered years of abuse that lead her to drug addiction and to prison. Having just been released and shocked at the lack of help and support she found, she was not surprised to learn that 70% of ex prisoners go on to re-offend. Having been released from prison and on benefits, she used her grit and determination to set up Vision Housing.
