C book magazine is a print publication that I have created for my final major project at University. The magazine works alongside an online collective which works as an online portal for creatives. The magazine itself will feature work from over 100 artists and I need help funding it so the magazine can be printed. My project is a new idea which bridges content from print and transforms into an online platform via the use of QR codes which are part of the work in the print publication.
C book is a new platform that caters to creatives both in the UK and internationally. The C book collective website makes use of a blog, a artist directory and a online forum for creatives to share ideas and ask questions. The print publication works as a yearbook and showcases the best work from the artists involved. I already have over 60 confirmed artists for the C book collective and many are excited about the possibilty of future issues.
So I can print my magazine and continue with this artistic publication I am aiming to raise £2000.00. This will enable me to print 200 copies which I can then use to put my product on the market. I am also applying for arts council grants as this is a project which is showcasing work which is popular online but rarely seen in print.
